Ah, it's great for it to be Thursday... speaking of which (but not really), the Top Web Comics site is back up, so vote for Carzorthade! Also, don't forget to vote on Buzzcomix! Remember, the more votes, the more Carzorthade moves up the list... I've been dropping ranks for a few weeks now, and it's up to you guys to help me get back up there. If I can stay under rank 50 up to Halloween, I'll release a special Halloween Wallpaper for your computers! So, vote me up there, and if we keep the position, you'll have a new Halloween Wallpaper on October 31st!

OooOooOOooooo...

(that was a ghost sound)

Also, if you click on the words "vacuum tube" in Tuesday's comic, you'll see something cool, I swear. What, you didn't think the comic took so long to load because of nothing? You know, I do put easter eggs in my comics...

Hey, sorry I couldn't make a post... and sorry I didn't have a new voting reward waiting for you. This time, I do, so please, vote, and see Slate in his car.

The University of Central Florida, the university I'm applying to, called me this afternoon, telling me that they've received my application and SATs, and I told them that I'm going to send them an updated SAT version as soon as it's scored, as well as two college essays, to help put me ahead of the curve.

You see, my GPA isn't nearly as high as I want it to be... but my SAT scores are relatively good, so I want to use the essays as a means to separate myself from the other hordes of people applying, because I really want to get in.

College scares me, no doubt about that... but many new things do. "Don't put off 'til tomorrow what you can do today"

Sorry for the late update, it took longer than I thought it would take to make the costumes, but, more than that, to do the angles for this strip. It was fun, actually, to get that "tiny little kid" perspective just right. I hope you guys can forgive me. In any case, here's the comic, and I hope you guys like it.

Yesterday, I attended a "Sci Fi Film Festival", hosted by the Sci Fi Club at my school, and I can honestly say it wasn't that bad. It was fun, really. We ordered pizza, had a cooler full of drinks, and watched "Empire Strikes Back" followed by "Independence Day", movies which I haven't seen in a long time, and had forgotten just how good they were. Man, I had a blast watching Star Wars, and the aerial battles (in both movies, actually) gave my shivers. The good shivers.

So those guys aren't too bad... I mean, I'm in the club already, and it's a nice group of people to hang out with. It's not like we spend our days arguing over the logistics of the Enterprise, that's for sure... well, not all of us.

Don't forget about Dementia of Magic...

Before I say anything else, go visit Dementia of Magic. Right now. This guy is awesome, and his strip is great. "It's a plot driven tale of magic in a medieval setting"... c'mon, how cool is that? Best part is, this guy's never played D&D or has read Tolkien, so it's his own world. Seriously, it's really good.

In other news, hmm... what's going on? Oh yeah, I just found out that a concert I'm playing in (Orchestra Concert... I wish I was in a band...) is taking place next month, as opposed to two months from now. Meaning, I have to start practicing. Darn! I was hoping to put it off until later...

I'll tell you more about it in later posts, since... well, heck... even I don't know too much about it.

[if you vote, a da vinci-esque experimentation with a frontal view of carzorthade]

Heh, after finishing the SATs, I was lulled into a false sense of accomplishment and completeness, as it turned out I had a lot of assignments due today, so that mean I had to do a lot, and I mean a lot of homeowrk last night. So that means I couldn't make a comic until this afternoon as soon as I had the slightest bit of free time.

Not having an idea for the strip didn't help either.

But I did eventually, and that's that.

Also, I guess when it comes to adding voting stuff, I only do it when I've uploaded the newest comic. If anyone voted by habit to get to the rewards and was greeted by something they've already seen, I'm sorry.

[more attempts at drawing carzorthade if you vote]

Late-date

Here's the comic, sorry it's so late... my computer's acting kinda buggy for some reason.

Oh my GOD, I'm so happy I'm done with SATs! I thought I was going to explode, I was so worried... but I studied for them (not as much as I should have, but it was adequate), and it seemed to have paid off.

In taking the SATs for a second time, I was hoping to raise my Math by about 100 points, which I think I either did, or came close to. For some reason, I think the test I got was easier than the last one, and I'm not sure as to whether or not it was the studying that made it seem that way.

Now that's done, all that's left for me is to submit my college essays, and then create a portfolio for the Film department of the college I'm applying to. Guess what's going in the 'folio? That's right, you guessed it: this comic. I'm going to pick out a few... actually, you know what? You pick 'em out.

Which comics are your favorites? I'm looking for the five best (in your opinion). This portfolio has to be jam packed with the best stuff I've ever created, so I'm also going to dig into my Creative Vault, and pull out some old movies and such.

But in the meantime, e-mail me the best of Carzorthade.

In other news, the new and improved (and formerly known as Montana Hills) Ripeville has arrived!

As for the Voting Rewards, I'm going to put another one up before tonight ends.

Ugh, I'm all disoriented. Heh...

Ah, hell, I'm sorry guys... I can't make a comic until after the SATs (on Saturday). But once I finish, you can guarantee I'm gonna get back on my horse, and you can expect (hopefully), a whole new Bios page, more Buddy Icons, and three new comics.
